 And then, something pushed back.”

A new form of Radiation has devoured technology and created a race of leviathans known as Da’ohmn; creatures once depicted only in religious dogma. This Radiation – known as Radi – has contaminated humans, allowing them to utilise its power in various way to combat the threat of annihilation they now face.

 “Now it is a contest over who is the better killer, a contest we have been losing.”

Breaching of the Barrier follows Krin, a young Magus, who’s curiosity thrusts her through the ‘seemingly impenetrable’ Barrier erected to halt the Da’ohmn advance. There she learns secrets that, should she return, could alter people’s perceptions about everything they believe about the enemy. But first, Krin must adapt to a world devoid of life, one that seems intent on the eradication of humankind. Each and every soul.

Bale, a Kriger, is intent on determining Krin’s fate. But getting through the Barrier involves significant trials for the warrior, the greatest ones soon emerging from within himself. Challenges he will need to overcome to find Krin and bringing her home.

BREACHING OF THE BARRIER is a completed novel, the opening book in the The Burning Tempest series. It is currently unpublished while I seek literary agent representation. If you would like to be a beta reader, please contact me on social media.
